Re: We have a Soul AND a Spirit- Not To Be Confused As the Same- question.

Thank you boldyloxx. Excellent explanation. Please don't take this wrong but it seems to me that it's divide and conquer. Have you read the unabridged version of Genesis?

I just can't see God turning his back on us. Although we screwed up I just can't comprehend a God of such unforgivness to make us suffer like we do because of one mistake.

I've had, and I'm sure you have too, many, many crimes commited against me. I always forgive if they are seriously repentive. People make mistakes. I've made my share and when I discover them I repented thereof and appologize if I hurt anyone by my mistakes. I just can't comprehend a God that would hold a mistake against us for thousands of years.

Maybe it's because I've been to war and seen first hand how bad it can really get. But the wars are contrived, I know that now. But I did feel Gods pressence while there. I could give you the exact dates and times. It changes you. You know you're part of God. Soul, spirit, mind, whatever. You KNOW you're part of God. And you really wonder how people can be so confused about it all. If God made you the soul you HAVE to be a part of God and therefore have access to any and all of Gods wisdom.

So maybe it's the different "hats" you have to wear which are convienently designated as mind, spirit, and soul just for comprehension value, so you can understand it all.

I've always known love is the answer and being in a war solidifies that within you. Love IS indeed the answer. Once you have that experience of being in Gods pressence all the divisions don't really matter. You know for a fact that you are a little spark of God and have access to whatever you need to get the job done. By the way, the soldiers were just pawns, God loved both us and the so-called enemy the same. Once you realize that, life is never the same and you will spend the rest of your days trying to expose the lies that were responsible for all that killing. And you can't do that unless you know for a FACT that God is with you and indeed cannot be separated from you. No soul, no spirit, no mind, just you, a little spark of God trying your best to stop the genocide. Or you, the soul, spirit and mind all working together to get the job done. But I really see no necessity for the divisions. Just seems to complicate things. And my experience tells me you're it. All three wrapped up in one which IS indevisable to start with.

One part of you can hold sway over another but what do you call that? Soul, spirit, mind, ego, subconscious, superconscious, reactive bank, or one of the many other things they have man divided into.

Maybe for those that have never been in combat and need to divide things up for their own comprehension of it all, it's necessary. But once you know, and you know you know, it gets real simple. God is, I am, He created me, I am part of him. How can it be otherwise?

Anyway, thanks for the explantion. I guess I've just seen this divide and conquer thing used so many times to the detriment of man, to keep him in slavery, that it makes me suspicious about it that's all.

Again, thanks for the explanation.
