Can someone tell me what Cayenne Tincture is good for?

I am all ready with my dried haber... those hot hot peppers and my everclear to make my first tincture and would like to know all the things people use Cayenne for and how much do I take..how often? Can it hurt me? Is there a good book that explains about all the uses for tinctures of all sorts?
