UVC 254nm Ultraviolet Treatment for Skin Parasite Co-Infections and Biofilm - Initial Treatment Results
FIRST UPDATE ON ULTRAVIOLET (UVC 254 nm) TREATMENT FOR SKIN
parasite CO-INFECTIONS:
After first two 60 second UVC 254 nm ultraviolet treatments (producing 240 millijoules/cm2), there is noticeable reduction in skin biofilm and general healing of infected skin areas, with complete cessation of visible
parasite growth.
No anti-microbial, anti-parasitic, anti-biotic meds, herbs, etc were taken within 24 hours preceding first treatment, and none will be taken during the 14 day period of treatment (one treatment per day).
Pre and post treatment includes topical benzalkonium chloride soap wash and benzalkonium chloride/lidocaine application (same as in Bactine).
Obvious safety precautions include UVC protective eyewear and use of a customized template to cover (protect from UVC exposure) over uninfected skin areas.
Encouraging initial results... Stay tuned.
