Silicon and distilled water

Is it ok for distilled water to make contact with silicon? I fill up a large water dispenser with distilled water, the container itself is glass, the spigot is made of stainless steel but also has 2 small silicon gaskets. Should I be concerned about chemicals leaching from the silicon? Tweet
