juice fasting for low stomach acid Hypochlorhydria

i have low stomach acid and i went to c my doctor last week. my liver enzymes were high along with a few other issues. basically the doc said to take betaine HCL and enzymes.

i asked him if i should or could do a juice fast and told him i'd be willing to do it if i should. he didn't suggest it himself but he seemed to think it was a good idea and when i asked him how long i should do it for he said 7 days.

what i want to ask here is; does juice fasting help with low stomach acid?

every where i search on google or cure zone with the terms low stomach acid, Hypochlorhydria, or Achlorhydria and juice fasting i get almost no results linking the 2.

i don't c anybody who did a juice fast for low stomach acid and i don't c anybody recommending a juice fast for people with low stomach acid.

i always do c betaine HCL though and some other things like enzymes.

can it help or harm to do a juice fast? will it help bring my stomach acid back up or make it worse from drinking so much alkaline material? any ideas or recommendations?

i don't know what to do and i'm getting a little worried cause when i take betaine HCL i have to take so much of it this morning i took 30 caps to c when the burning sensation would start and i barely felt it at 15 grams of betaine hcl along with pepsin.
