I stumbled upon your entry, SoulSurvior, "What I've Learned..." and now reading everything you have posted.

Now there are TWO people in my life that somewhat understand - You and my daughter - what living with a personality disordered spouse can do to someone that suffered greatly as a child being brought up in a very unhappy and violent home.

I no longer speak to four of my five sibs. No contact for years with two of them.

I no longer have contact with my son and his family since his wedding nine years ago.

I filed for divorce from an Undiagnosed Narcissistic man after 29 years of married hell-on-earth. The divorce was no picnic.

Thank you for your words. Your feelings. YOUR POSTS. They will help me greatly when therapy for me begins in January.
