Returned and prepared to transfer some photos of my three year old granddaughter. {OK so now you know i over forty}, and i had noticed earlier before the hike that the printer had not completed three projects....  What i was preparing to do was  transfer photos down loaded Sunday, to a couple of 80 Gig remote drives, where we keep photos, and other personal stuff...   We power them up when ready to use, this also helps with the firewall....  

So here i sit an electrical engineer, with years of know how....  Having built several PCs over the years....  And layout and design electronic circuits,  well you get the picture.....    And after going to "my computer" and attempting to locate and transfer the pics...  No go, what.....   so now i am in the troubleshooting mode...

Navy training kicked in, start with the known and work toward the unknow(s)....    First determine if we have an input... power to the 80 Gig drives, check ok....

look and determine if it is (USB) connected to hub, check ok...   Go back to the PC and find drive to allow transfer, Nada there.....   What  how can this be.... 

Well DUH,  ... i never connected the USB plug into the PC....   So now it works as designed....  But that shows no matter who you are or where you are it can happen to you.....    Yes, i mean you too....    

Keep watching your self so you do not end up on the backside of trouble....
