What does it take for most people to stop look and listen to life...   This is not rocket science here folks...  just plain everyday life... 

It never ceases to amaze me as to how many people drive for an example...  This is not about defensive driving courses, though most people could most likely use one....  I just completed one for the state of Fla, last month...  Have had several over the years... we will save this topic for the "Road of Life" blog....

What gets me is that most people do not even appear to know what they are doing... DUH...   This may well be the case, but what i found is that you have to open the window and look out sometime.... As life is not happening in your lap so to speak..... And life is going on whither you like it or not....  so get on with it...

 Some people do not realize that the whole idea of operating a vehicle is to not hit anyone or let anyone else hit you....  This true on a bike, in a car, on a boat, or in an airplane.....   So for many moons i have been so luckey...   But the you will see, such as i did a couple of years ago, while driving on a four lane divided hi way,  a lady about five or six car lengths ahead, notices a car at a stop sign creeping forward...

Well she panicked and hit her breaks, locking up her wheels and starting a skid directly for the car that is still sitting at the stop sign...   Of course if she had just let off the breaks, since the car did not come out into the intersection, and steered down the lane she was traveling in, she could have avoided the collision..  DUH....

{ Note of interest most accidents (approx 80%) occur at or near an intersection...}
