Well finally got our anniversary cruise set up yesterday after some four months of hassle...   Some things in life seem to take forever...  Such as was this quest...

We had decided last year to go back to Alaska, (previously had gone in 1998) and would take a sea cruise this time...  You all know how I love ships, and the ocean... It is in my blood, I think...  Had taken my dear wife on a cruise before, and she liked it...  So we are on course, " The Good Lord willing and if the creek don't riase..."  As we say down south...

Over the years; I have traveled and stayed at hotels around the world, so have many hundreds of thousands of points in programs...  Example: Just an some years back, took wife, and our two younger sons, first class Air Fare to Hawaii; for a week...  Stayed at a first class hotel;  with an ocean front view on the north coast of Maui... complete with a full size rental car from Hertz...  So I have more than enough to take this cruise, first class using points...   As it goes we had some interesting happenings, some of which were very unusual....   Will share more on the adventures, on these trips in my up coming book...  You just have to get a copy coming out in the fall of '06...

Another example of points; last year,  used couple thousand points,  took one of my sons and his family down south to a major amusement park and we stayed in two separate accommodations, all on points... Have taken my family to Vail, and Orange County Calif... Wife and I went to Pôrto Rico,  Bahamas, and flew up to Alaska, plus  have been taken my sons to about Thirty states...   Any way back to May 2006... 

Enchanted Gardner had ask about my photos on the international scene...  I have a public listing on ntl@photobox.co.uk....  I share some albums there also with some folks with a home in France...  I must get back and post some more pics soon...  We will share some pics later...
