Going to see if I can do one more project tonight.
I have a deadline for the inside front cover of the
Speaker Manual. Each year, the Pacific Symposium
reprints one of my poems on the inside front cover.
This has been going on for about ten years.
Kinda interesting how that relationship has evolved.
I do a little opening and closing ceremony as well.
Have a Special Enchanted Garden Display in the Foyer.
Bring lots of plants or flowers, and generally create
a conference Altar where the students of TCM,Alumni,
and Practitioners can Plant Dreams with seeds.
Generally, the theme is Planting TCM in American Soil.
Last year I had a new location.
It was a hassle setting up and then setting up again.
There is also a new program director this year.
Victoria is the woman who works with the Catamaran.
Morea is generally with me. She does healing work.
Morea was with me on the first night of my two hip revisions...
She is an extraordinary natural healer.
She does not have a credential that would say she
is bonefide to be in the spot where she sets up each year--
generally nearby me--but it seems to work out.
I have to make sure it is O.k. this year.
project yes. She is one of my main allies.
I am generally burnt out heading into this conference
that is yearly at the beginning of November.
Two years ago, I climbed off what felt like a deathbed
of diarrhea to set up. It was an amazement just to show up
and I was delightfully happy. My energies switch when
I am in conference mode.
There are generally some very special relationships that
evolve during the Conference that inspire me.
Last year I met Deborah Pietsch, a marketing maven.
I have been out of it a lot this year, and have not followed
up on that relationship.
I am far from Conference Mode right now, but writing this Blog
is helping me get my energies up!
The deadline for the inside front cover was a couple days ago.
I also have an Ad coming.
