Hello, my name is Eva Becker and I am Leslie Goldman's niece from Los Angeles. I am a public school science teacher who has taught Biology and Physiology for the past 25 years for the LA Unified School District, as well as in the private sector.
I wanted to let all of Leslie Goldman's beloved and sacred followers know that I have established a scholarship in his name that I am trying to get funded and endowed for the next five years! I am very excited about this scholarship, having written it myself!
All monies raised will go directly to the students through the University High Educational Fund (UHEF)- the high school where I work which is under the auspices of the Los Angeles Unified School District. Being that UHEF is a 501.c3, all donations and contributions made are completely tax deductible and the UHEF (Uni High Educational Fund) will write you a tax deductible receipt.
Please consider contributing to this worthy cause that will perpetuate Uncle Leslie's good deeds and legacy on the planet!

I am in the process of receiving the essays and will determine a winner this week. On May 26th, the student recipient winner will be awarded his/her prize at annual Senior Award Night that will be facilitated virtually by the counselors at my school.
Student recipients who are making contributions to the environment will be awarded $1000.00 towards their post high school educational costs.

ALL DONATIONS ARE TAX DEDUCTIBLE and donors will receive a donation receipt directly from The University High Education Foundation (UHEF) for their records. Donors have the option to donate via credit card or by email.
Donations via Credit Card- https://www.uhef.org/donate-now/. Click on the DONATE NOW button and fill out required personal information. In the "Comments" window on the page, donors should enter "Leslie Goldman Plant Your Dream Scholarship" so that monies are earmarked for his scholarship fund.
Donations via Check- If donors prefer, they may send their donations directly to the UHEF- PO Box at the mailing address below. On the memo line of their check, they should note, "Leslie Goldman-Plant Your Dream Scholarship Award"

From the bottom of my heart, thank you in advance for participating in this scholarship endeavor in honor of my Dear Uncle Leslie who did so much for others with little in return and always had everyone's best interest at heart. As you know, it was his lifelong wish to help the youth find their purpose and to establish and fulfill their dreams. Before his departure, I promised him that I would establish a scholarship in his name.
