The psyche includes the gut! In knowing this - I choose to only eat in peace. It's in my Human Design. It is very rare that I go out to eat for many reasons and one of them is it is virtually impossible to find a public restaurant that honors silence! So I eat at home, mostly by myself and that works well for me.
Everyone has there own unique Human Design. There is a way to feed the psyche-gut connection that is unique for each individual. I eat in silence. I focus on my food. I especially focus on gratitude! There is a "psyche & gut health" basis for prayers. I begin each sit down meal with stillness, enter the stillness and I continue in stillness through out the whole meal. There is no TV that plays in my environment when I eat. I don't even have a radio or the like playing. If I have the restaurant of my dreams I would only allow live acoustical music playing without any amplification. The tempo would be slow and very conducent to a contemplative eating experience. It probably would not necessarily be everyone's "cup of tea" however I think there is a need for one!
