A man came tonight to check out living here.
He sounded great over the phone, but we both
could not feel this place was a good fit for him.
He left to get some Ibuprofen for pain in a shoulder
and did not come back. Later I called and told him
about StayActiv. Everything was O.K. between us.
I learned some things about the someone checking out
with the Love Cards but not fitting in person.

I was doing some deep work with Chef Jem about the house
tonight when the phone rang.
We were just feeling into the deep purpose
of the land here.
It was a man who had been sent
and he seemed to be an outstanding match
as a housemate according to the Robert Camp
Love Cards.
It was a rainy night.
I changed my plans to stay home to meet him.
I wasn't sure I really wanted to go out.
We had a great connection over the phone,
but he was too tall for our room.
I was tired. He was preoccupied with making calls and left
to his car. when I went out he was gone.
I did not feel it was a match.
I was surprised he did not say goodbye.
I called later. He said he had a pain in his shoulder,
that he went out to get some Ibuprophen.
He has IBS.
So have I.
Ibuprophen really hurt by bowel.
I recommended that he get some StayActiv.
That is my anti-inflammatory of choice.

THE IRONY OF PAINKILLERS
Ubuprofen backfires in this test.

After the race, runners who had taken ibuprofen showed signs of mild kidney impairment as well as mild endotoxemia, a potentially dangerous condition in which bacterial toxins present in the large intestine get into the bloodstream, Nieman and colleagues reported in 2006 in the journal Brain, Behavior and Immunity.
The drug also failed to help performance or recovery, the researchers reported in that paper and others. Both groups of runners reported equivalent amounts of pain during the race. Their times were the same. And afterward, their muscles were equally sore.
Most ironic, runners on ibuprofen actually had 50% more inflammation in their bodies after the race, even though athletes often choose to take the drug to fight inflammation.
