How do you clean up Castor oil?

What a mess.
A broken high quality castor oil bottle
from the Heritage old Edgar Cayce company
broke inside a plastic container.
After reality set in for how difficult it was
to get rid of the mess, I poured some into
a glass container, put inside the wool flannel,
and sealed the jar.
The likelihood I will open it again is slim.
Now that I think of it, you are suppose to cover
the wool with the castor oil.
Castor oil packs some swear by,
but dealing with this ultra thick goup is
impossiblle. It is a sticky mess of the
most extreme kind.
I pour some of the oil on the ground in a special
hole where I put bones.
The plastic container I put into a plastic bag and into the black bin.
No one will ever appreciate this.
It will, if all goes lucky, end up in some dump
for 100 years.
There was even a ruined packet of Job's Tears full of
the thick mess. I opened the bag and rescued three seeds
before I trashed something that was intended to be holy.
What a mess I have made of things.

I really ought to at least rescue the gooped up
rechargeable mercury less battery..
