Veganism - A Failed Experiment

A leading comment regarding the most recent Oprah show on "The vegan experiment".

"I like the idea of always tacking the word experiment on to the word veganism. It hasn't stood the test of time, preliminary results are bleak, and who wants to be the malnourished guinea pig? Not I! Saturated fat and traditional foods please, they kept my great-great grandparents fertile, active, slim, attractive, and long-lived.

Fertility is an excellent barometer for measuring the sustainability of a diet! I expect to see veganism peeking in it's fad appeal very soon! I do not expect to see a truly healthy succeeding generation of vegans! I always ask vegans to show me a history of people or a society with successive generations of vegans. They always come up empty handed!
