Jack,
What a run!
Doing the Pacific Symposium Altar was
one of the most tremendous of my life expressions
in recent years.
Thank you for the tremendous opportunity.
I am getting good at making Videos.
I shot a lot of footage over the years.
I know there were complaints about
my closing ceremony this last time.
I am glad you and others enjoyed so many of
my closing ceremonies in other years.
I sense that the Enchanted Garden Altar
at the Pacific Symposium was a highlight of the event
for many people.
I do know that having an Altar there was a stretch,
back to what the essence of Chinese Medicine was all about.
I am grateful for the tremendous support I received doing
the Altar from so many of the staff, owners of the college,
faculty, and attendees at the conference.
I am sure that many will have testimonials and comments one
way or another.
I do realize that my closing ceremony in 2010 was
a definite strength for many. I know there were numbers
of complaints I am looking at seeing and studying them.
We are in a very dangerous time in the history of our medicine
TCM herbs are being put under stringent license in Europe as
of May, and I know there are forces in the US who do not
want see this medicine succeed.
It felt highly appropriate to launch the Campaign
to Educate Washington on Real Food Safety at last year's
Pacific Symposium.
We are increasingly needing to grow our own medicine here,
as I have been saying for well over a decade at the Pacific Symposium.
Perhaps you may want to have the college sponsor some of the
blogs I will will be writing about the Altar.
Truly it was a tremendous expression of that for many
epitomized the core of spirituality that conference
and TCM as a while represents.
I am sure we will find ways to support each other
in the years to come.
Best to you.
Maybe you continue to gude the college in the direction
you see and seek. May success continue to follow you.
