"The ultimate test of of any civilization is what they do with their children!" a True-ism 

An Israeli leader some years ago was ask when the fighting in the Middle East would stop?
 She answered " When they learn to  love their children more than they hate us! "

 How do we love our children?

 The answer in any culture is obvious, even in our own...   What do we really live for?  What are our pursuits?   What are we doing for or to our children?

 In the world, over the past fifty years there have been 150 major wars fought, killing about 25 million people...  This is double the number of victims of war in the nineteenth century and seven times more than all the wars of the eighteenth century!  Thus when we look back abased at the horror and death in ancient history; we had best look at what has happened in the lifetime of many of us!
 
 The principle group of victims has been the children...   That comes to over two million in the past decade, around five million disabled, and twelve million left homeless...  Another million left orphaned or separated from parents, with another ten million scarred psychologically with many more traumatized by civil wars...

 Even worse is what we do to our children in the western world; when we have told them that there are no moral boundaries!

Then we have come to ridicule religion and holy things...  This leaves them vulnerable to any philosophy of life that comes their way...  There is nothing sacred any more!

 This making them defenseless in a predatory world where evil lurks on the hearts of the children!

 We have wrecked havoc in their souls when they have been taught there are no fences or boundaries, and then laugh at the proclamation of God's Holy Word!

  These are the questions of their mortal soul; by removing the fences we have let in a flood of evil ideas; do we dare pause long enough to even think of what we are doing to the children?
