ERIN LANNON, incoming President of e3
in on schedule to be here at the
ENCHANTED GARDEN INTENTIONAL COMMUNITY
at 4 PM May 31.
The occasion is the picking of
ERICA JOHNSON's blackberries.
The blackberries are at the top of
our Orange Tree, about ten feet off the ground!
ERICA is a former e3 Co-president
and has served this past year on
GREEN LOVE, the Associated Students
at SDSU group responsible for major
progress in heloping SDSU go green.
GRANT MACK, AS COMMISSIONER of
GREEN LOVE, is also invited, said
ERICA in a recent communication.
The Associated Students have a budget
of $32 Million.
Current projects for SDSU's e3's include
a bike path on Campus and an on-going
on Campus Farmers' Market.
A botanical garden is also planned,
and there is a plot designated,
according to faculty member
DAVID LAROM, for a proposed
organic garden right off campus.
ERIC LANNON reports significant progress.
A recent meeting with AZTEC SHOPS was
favorable. e3 will help bring the local
Farmers' Market on campus.

HOLLY HELLERSTEDT, e3 VICE PRESIDENT,
attended our first COME ALIVE! meeting May 13.
Holly is an active e3 member at SDSU.
I met her at the SDSU Earth Day. She
attended the Cultivation Food Justice Conference
in early May, and the VIP (Very Important Planet)
Earth Fair Reception, May 6.
This summer she travels to South America for a month
to practice her Spanish. I look forward to
involving Holly in some of the
ENCHANTED GARDEN PROJECTS
involving Good Border Neighbors.
The ENCHANTED GARDEN was one of
five US participants in World Environment Day
in Tecate in 2006, sponsored by
the Foundation La Puerta.
MATT SABLOV gardens
at the ENCHANTED GARDEN INTENTIONAL COMMUNITY
last Tuesday. Matt was active in the South Central Garden,
and is involved in statewide student initiatives. He regularly
attends our Wednesday night COME ALIVE! Meetings.

from old trash bags that last 500-800 years. The PERF BAGS
will decompose into Biomass in soil within two years.
I have some planted one experimental KEEP The BEET's pot
to witness to this!!!! I am going to include PERF as well in
future pots so others can see the results for themselves.

ANTHONY ZOLEZZI is one of the main inspirations behind
GREENOPS, a new Recycling Redemption project
that launches on Earth Day. GrEENOPOLIS is the
Social Network site. I am sure there are going
to be companies using plastic blottles for years.
This is a great project to make sure that those
producing drinks and other products in plastic
begin responsible for a program that sees
the bottles they sell are returned to the store
that sells it.
