Charge Nurse for a Day- It's OVER OVER WOO HOO!
carrot juice ideal nerve tonic
Date: 11/20/2008 6:11:54 PM ( 16 y ) ... viewed 2005 times I was picked to be charge nurse today. I have a strong suspicion that she picked girls who are at the top of the class. Hey whatever. I MADE IT! :doing cartwheels: I carried a jug of fresh carrot juice (well it was juiced last night LOL) and drank it after I was done. That carrot juice tasted so GOOOOOOOOD and felt like an instant nerve tonic.
I've tested my blood sugar after drinking carrot juice mixed with a little greens and apple cider vinegar (two hours postprandial FSBS)and the highest it's ever been was 120. My fingerstick sugars have averaged about 90-100 and 120 one hour after a meal or juice. I diluted the juice this time and that made it even better. I know that some popular rawfooders like Dr. Cousens don't really advocate carrot juice. However, it works for me and so why should I stop drinking carrot juice based on what other people say. Dr. Walker lived to at least 99 years old drinking carrot juice.
I hope to carry some juice with me to work tomorrow. I don't care to drink diet gingerale with orange pasteurized stuff. I don't mind box orange juice but the diet gingerale can't be good.
School is pretty much done. Tomorrow is my last day.
