Date: 3/18/2008 8:14:56 PM ( 16 y ) ... viewed 2376 times My mother didn't stay in bed for long. It wasn't long before she was fussing over cleaning the house and insisting she does the dishes. She was very bright eyed this morning and in very good spirits.
She had Flora essiac tea before breakfast and a big bowl of fortified porridge. Lunchtime she had a big bowl of fresh chickensoup. Before I left, I set up a big protein shake for her using Ultimate Meal, flaxseed digest, l glutamine powder, Klim milk and some other things. My sister made her another shake which is good.
Tomorrow she has her stitches removed and gets the results of the pathology report. Hopefully she'll be in Memorial Sloan Kettering by the end of the week to see the doctor. Spending Easter weekend with her.
The ride back I did some praying and not because I was going up through the Allegheny Mountains in rain and heavy fog either :-) I prayed the rosary and prayed for my mother. Pray for me by God's grace that my husband and I have the cash funds to do all this travelling and caretaking of my mom. I'm making a beautiful healing vision board for my mother so she can look at it and be inspired. Blessed Be.
