supported by organic farmers and
small farmers,
was not considered.
This was essential to saying yes
on #HR 2749.
We need more time to come up with
more discussion and a better
Food Safety Law. This one has
too many flaws.

I just had a prophetic dream.
This followed a counseling session I did
with JUDITH LARKIN RENO last night.
I was a storyteller.
A great storyteller had died.
He mentored two others.
I was reminding in the first scene
the two who the one who died had mentored
about something they had been taught
but had forgotten.
Then in another scene
there was a large group, hundreds.
I used this venue to tell remind the younger student
what he had forgotten.
This was a very creative venue...
and I was asking everyone listening to help.

Spent most of the day filing
old Bank statements from many accounts.
Hooray! I have all the ones I need
for the Sales Tax Report and 2008 IRS
I want to complete.
This is a good first step.
I just finished this.
It was a block of energy in a box.
Lots of the things in the box.
I do not want to forget that I have a phone
date.
Also write Marcia a check now. Thank you.

Family farmers have a lot to fear from the FDA
and the state health agencies bringing a “sterile”
attitude to farms.

The NATIONAL LEAFY GREEN MARKETING ASSOCIATION
submitted their request to the USDA July 8.
The following day, the key ideas from
President Obama's Working Group on Food Safety
came out. Moves to clean up Leafy Greens was
mentioned.
The ideas in the Leafy Green Campaign
mindset appears to have found favor with
the creators of #HR 2749.
Children under five out of the field
is one idea expressed by industry who
want to decontaminate the fields.

Commercial industrial farming
and the advances of science into agriculture
have led to new fragmented systems of food growing.
When food becomes an extreme commodity,
and the grower and processor lose the beat with
the inherent integrity of what they are doing,
the farming system can become contaminated.
It it the system itself that is contaminated now.
Deaths from Peanut Butter, or injuries from spinach
are symptoms of an underlying disease condition--
we have strayed from the basic understanding
that food growing and Cultural advancement go
hand in hand.
The Farmer and Gardener
hear the "beet." This is an
education process.
I call it BEET KEEPERS, Return!
Who wants to stand out against Food Safety? That answer
is simple. No one in their intelligent mind is against
Food Safety. There are too many lives at stake,
both the lives of eaters as well as the continuation
of a system of growing food that is older than time,
and more inherently Intelligent
than science as many of us now know it.
RE: #HR 2749. Slow down.
Take time to get it right.
We haven't a moment to loose.

This petition on the site of the FTCLDF
is very well done. When I put in my
contact info, it brought up my representatives
and senators, and opportunity to direct community
with local newspapers. Excellent work.
# HR 2749 needs to be defeated
in its present form.
I recommend taking more time to
work out the bugs. Every one
is in favor of Food Safety.
This bill has some good points,
but needs work. There are some
amendments that need to be considered
to meet the needs of all concerned.
