What am I going to do with all this mint in my garden?
Try this lightly flavored water on a hot & humid afternoon to hydrate & relax. I served this at a cook off at the Wake Forest Farmers Market & everyone was amazed at how refreshing it was!
I/2 gallon of distilled water, room temperature
1/2 cucumber, thinly sliced
1 lemon, juiced

at Balboa Park. It was turned into a painting/drawing that I have seen
in the Rabbi Shlomo Carlebach literature. He died in the early 90’s I believe.
I have a lot of photos that I took of Shlomo.

Spent two more hours out back going through
Notebooks. I wanted to see if Robert Greenway
a man I met at a conference in 1995 was on the internet.
He wrote me a postiive note on a weekend where I
overextended and ruffled the feathers of those in charge.

Sounds like everyone is going to have a pretty clear choice in the election
about supporting a candidate who wants to drill for oil to solve our energy
problem and those who want to look in other directions.
I was not too happy with Obama’s reference to going for Nuclear Power,
but he is siding with Al Gore, et all for Energy Independence within ten years.

The levees are 8 to 10 feet high. Landfall is expected
for tomorrow night. The City is being asked to evacuate.
Mayor Nagin is calling it the "Storm of the Century."

Nightmare Dream:
I went to see Old Friends Lynn and Morris Walker,
but when I got there they had moved.
All that was left were two boxes of Art Supples
they had forgotten.
Someone said they had moved to Murietta.
Something about Julian.
The EG Mobile came there for respite.
I think it needed repairs.
I am not sure if I had confidence to go to Murietta to see
them although that is where I believe I was headed
even before I heard they unexpectedly moved there.

Tired of being surrounded by so much stuff.
Just off the phone with Judith Larkin Reno,
my friend since the early 80’s.
She was Dean of the School of Consciousness
for the University for Humanistic Studies.
