What I Believe 14 y
I am confused by all of the information I’m absorbing recently regarding the spiritual and energetic “Shift” that is now occurring on the planet. Am I trying too hard to make a synthesis out of everything I read, hear, and practice? I don’t know what I believe—what DO I believe?
I believe
In a “Divine Intelligence/Spirit” of the Universe(s) of Creation
In some kind of spiritual “plane of existence” after physical death
In reincarnation
In some kind of “Karma” or energy balancing/”past lives”/alternative lives
In multidimensionality/interdimensionality
That Atlantis/Lemuria existed in our “past”
In other intelligent life on other planets ex: Pleidians
That “Ein Sof”/All-That-Is is basically Love/Good/Peace
That Yeshua (“Jesus”) was a mortal man who had an intimate knowledge ... read more
Become the Offering 14 y
Words of Wisdom from Gretchen McKay, shamanic Practitioner
"May each of us become peace,
may we become the offering.
May we see the Divine in all Creation
and may we be a prayer for peace.
May we become the change we want to see.
I leave you with an ancient Celtic blessing...
Deep peace of the running waves to you,
Deep peace of the flowing air to you,
Deep peace of the smiling stars to you,
Deep peace of the quiet earth to you,
Deep peace of the watching shepherds to you,
Deep peace of the Son of Peace to you."

Our Addiction to Oil 14 y
My very own opinion on getting the U.S. off of oil and onto alternative, renewable, "green" energy.
U.S. Addiction to Oil--In the Wake of the Gulf Oil Spill
I just read an article by Michael Brune, executive director of Sierra Club (”SIERRA”, September/October 2010, vol. 95, no. 5) ”Lots of folks--including Presidents George W. Bush and Barack Obama--have called our societal dependence on oil an addiction...It isn’t oil that Americans are addicted to; it’s convenient and cheap mobility.”
He states that the U.S., with 5% of the world’s population, burns 20 million barrels of oil daily, fully 25% of the world’s entire daily production. More than two-thirds of the oil that we bur ... read more
Microbes Eat Oil 14 y
Naturally occuring microbes are eating the oil from the BP Oil Spill in the Gulf. While this sounds much rosier than my post from yesterday ("Gulf Crisis NOT Over), it still leaves the problem of all of the toxic dispersant in the water. I don't think we will fully realize all of the environmental and human consequences of this spill for years to come.

Microbes consumed oil plume, study says
By David Brown
Washington Post Staff Writer
Wednesday, August 25, 2010
The Gulf of Mexico ecosystem was ready and waiting for something like the Deepwater Horizon blowout, and seems to have made the most of it, a new scientific study suggests.
Petroleum-eating bacteria - which had dined for eons on oil seeping naturally through the seafloor - proliferated in the cloud of oil that drifted underwat ... read more
Gulf Crisis NOT Over 14 y
It is not easy reading this. It makes me sick. But we HAVE to know the truth. Don't be fooled by the platitudes coming out of Washington or elsewhere that the Gulf Oil Crisis is "over". The Oil spill in the Gulf will not "go away", even as the leak is plugged, the media coverage fades with the passage of time, or the next crisis is focused on in the news. We will be living with the consequences of this spill for many years to come, maybe generations to come.

The Gulf Crisis is Not Over
Slow Violence and the BP Coverups
By ANNE McCLINTOCK
Three vanishing acts are being played out in the Gulf: the disappearing of the oil from the ocean surface by Corexit, the disappearing of the story by the media blockade, and the disappearing from view of the shadowy private contractors who are making a mint helping BP and the Coast Guard keep a cover on the clean-up. This triple vanishing trick, collectively choreographed by BP and sundry fed ... read more
Teaching Tolerance 14 y
Peace and Reconciliation between Jews, Christians, Muslims starts with joint education. Claremont School of Theology starts a cross training program for future religious leaders with the goal in mind of increasing religious tolerance.
Embracing “The Other”
by Florence Dann | August 2010 |
Rabbi Mel Gottlieb, president of the Academy for Jewish Religion-California, believes that seminary students should learn about other faiths while bonding with students who are learning to be leaders in their own religions.
The idea of cross training future religious leaders may be unorthodox, but the Claremont School of Theology, a Christian institution with long ties to the Methodist Church, is collaborating with the Academy for Jewish Religion, California (AJR,CA) and the Islamic Center of Southern Cal ... read more

Kryon,a benevolent Being from beyond the veil, as channeled by Lee Carroll, tells us about the Creator
Exerpt from Kryon: "Perceptions of God" http://www.kryon.com/k_channel10_portland_me_.html
“I want to tell you what exists on my side of the veil. It’s a rainbow of magnificent energy that sings a message in color and light. There’s no strife here. The creator energy has no strife. There’s no punishment or reward here, since there is no judgment. Judgment is the constraining of a Human’s consciousness that does not allow for unconditional love. There’s only the energy of a loving creator here. You’re a part of the creator energy family. You sh ... read more

BP’s Deep Secrets
The following is an excerpt. To read the entire article go to: http://motherjones.com/environment/2010/09/bp-ocean-cover-up?page=1
BP and the government say the spill is fast disappearing—but dramatic new science reveals that its worst effects may be yet to come.
Though it won’t be understood for weeks, the Deepwater Horizon is different from any other spill in human history. The extreme technology used to drill at unprecedented depths lacks the extreme safety equipment and protocols needed to stave off disaster. BP, gam ... read more
Hummingbird Medicine 14 y
Hummingbirds buzzing me when I step out my front door. Their vibrating wings sound like gigantic bumble bee buzzes! I always startle!
I have two huge bird-of-paradise plants in my front yard. whenever they bloom, the hummingbirds come to sip the nectar leaking out of the flowers. Once, a hummingbird gave me a good dressing down--it’s voice was harsh and shrill--I’d never heard them chirp before! because I was standing between it and the last bloom of the season. Apologizing to it, I stepped out of its way; the bird flew right for the bloom and started feeding. Bird-of-paradise are originally from Africa, and are really an herb; the nectar is good medicine, tastes great!

Parable of the Canaries
By Carolyn Raffensperger
http://www.sehn.org/blog/?p=410
A quiet, ordinary canary, an older female named Vida had sent many of her brood into the mines. She had had enough. “What”, she thought,” can I do to stop sending our children into the mines to warn the miners of death? The mines themselves are death. This is what we must say.”
One night the miner who cleaned her cage and gave her food and water left the door ajar. Vida slipped past the billowing curtain and flew out the window into the dark. She went to each miner’s house and visited every canary w ... read more

My account of the Gulf oil disaster. Day 1. Gulfport, Mississippi.
Posted July 23, 2010
by Richard Zack
The first local person I encountered on my journey to the Gulf, was the clerk at the Motel 6 in Gulfport I stayed at my first night.
She asked me what brought me to town, so I told her it was the oil disaster….. and with a semi-sarcastic 1am expression said that I “wanted to see the Gulf coast first hand before it was gone”.
It seemed like a perfectly reasonable thing to say, poetic even, in a “Dances with Wolv ... read more
Love-Every RainDrop 14 y
Tropical Storm Bonnie is heading over the Gulf of Mexico; She is asking us to "put our love in every rain drop that will be falling to assist in cleansing the air and then to bring love to the water and land the rain drops fall on."
LOVE IN EVERY RAIN DROP
Hi All,
This morning as I meditated the first thing I felt as I slipped into the energy of the Gulf was a suffocating feeling, like the air was bad. It smelled acrid, like it was burning my nose and lungs.
The next thing I felt was tremendous love. The storm began to speak and said it was coming to cleanse the air. It felt pretty gentle as storms go. I have worked with hurricanes and storms for a number of years.Somtimes they feel cleansing and sometimes they feel really angry. This storm feels cleansing though I know the wind wi ... read more

WE LOVE YOU! We are GLAD you are here on the planet! Times are challenging.
This is a lifetime of much work.
You are doing it, more than you know! You contribute to the Shift in your own individual way; think “ripple in the pond” when a small stone is cast in. Your own “stone” creates a large ripple. On Being Human 14 y
Self-channeling. I call it this, as I'm talking to my SELF, higher self, spirit guides, ancestors..."they" tell me it does not matter what I call "them", as "All are ONE!"
Being human in this lifetime is not about being PERFECT.
Being human in this lifetime is about WAKING UP to your SPIRITUAL POTENTIAL.
Yes, you know you are a “spiritual being having a human experience,” but what does that MEAN in your daily life?
It means trial and error.
It means acknowledging that as a human being you WILL make mistakes.
It means apologizing sincerely to others when you hurt them.
It means FORGIVING YOURSELF for hurting others.
It means loving yourself with ALL of your “flaws” and “imperfections”.
