A-calculus inflammation (cholecystitis) could cause this
by anuradha 20 y
My 2 bit from what my doctor told me:
Not all gall bladder inflammations are related to calculi - inflammation could be of the a-calculus variety as well. And scar tissue would perhaps form by healing of the inflammation.

theres two types of inflammation.
acute inflammation. You need inflammation to heal a wound. Acute inflammation heals the wound and it goes away, no more inflammation. Cortisol comes and regulates the inflammation quickly with no side effects.
chronic inflammation. When acute inflammation happens for long(chronic trauma) it becomes chronic inflammation(non healing wound) and this causes chronic cortisol. Thus the side effect.

Hi Freebird,
Can I add chronic inflammation? It’s sort of a which comes first the chicken or the egg problem because apparently inflammation can set the stage for candida infection but also candida causes inflammation.

chronic inflammation is invisible. So you can’t see it on your lips.
”Unlike the very visible signs of acute inflammation, like redness and swelling, chronic inflammation is most often invisible, with no signs or symptoms other than those detectable through chemical tests.”

chronic inflammation is proinflammatory cytokines .. so the lips can’t heal. If you’ve got acute inflammation( redness, swelling) at anytime... that is a good sign, because it is showing the lips are trying to heal.

As the initial response that fires up the immune system, inflammation is the crucial first step in fighting off infection and healing wounds(acute inflammation). However, when inflammation persists - when the immune system is always activated - this is known as chronic inflammation and can lead to chronic disease.

The more science learns about inflammation the more we come to realize that chronic inflammation is at the heart of many common health challenges. We all recognize the role inflammation plays in such conditions as arthritis, but what about other chronic inflammation conditions? We now know that conditions such as diabetes, heart disease, Alzheimer’s, and even obesity are all linked to what is called silent inflammation. Chronic inflammation is self-feeding, in that the longer the inflammation lasts the more intense it can often become. Anti-inflammatory drugs have many side effects ...

I would see a Chiropractor, if you haven’t already. Do the Candida Plan to bring your body back into balance. It sounds like you have chronic inflammation of the nervous system. It’s generally nothing that will show up in testing and is primarily due to past antibiotic use, which primes the brain for inflammation. The removal of amalgams probably increased it a bit. Anything that increases inflammation in your body will increase it in the brain. Brain fog is a sign of inflammation.
Every time you take antibiotics, you kill more bacteria and dump more bacterial toxins (Lipopolysaccharides ...

Inflammation. We have all experienced it. For the most part, inflammation is GOOD, it is part of the immune response system that tells us when there is infection, stress, illness, or injury. We then (usually) take the steps necessary to remedy the condition that caused the inflammation in the first place.
Chronic inflammation, however, is a key cause in disease and premature cellular aging ...

If that is what you meant, then we may have similar conditions. I believe inflammation inside my body is the cause for inflammation in lips. The moisturizing method might help others who have this condition from lip biting or picking, but I do not believe it will help me since inflammation in my body is a chronic condition. Well, I think the enlarged fordyce spots are due to inflammation. If the size of fordyce spots goes down, the inflammation might go down too. I noticed when my fordyces spots shunk while using potassium iodine drops, the inflammation went down. I am trying to figure out if because the fordyce spots are enlarged, they fill up with or secrete more sebum which causes irritation/inflammation like a pimple.

Once again I consider that cellular memory, measurably different from inflammation, plays a major role in EC. To support these words, less than two months, I vomited because of an intoxication and this had relieved the inflammation in my EC area as hell. I experienced the same inflammation when I had rubbed my lips with an antiseptic hand wash a long time ago.
But this terrible inflammation left in less than a month to restore a normal appearance to my lips.

One way to increase growth factor concentrations in wounds is to apply the growth factors directly, though this takes many repetitions and requires large amounts of the factors.[5] Another way is to spread onto the wound a gel of the patient’s own blood platelets, which then secrete growth factors such as vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), insulin-like growth factor 1–2 (IGF), PDGF, transforming growth factor-β (TGF-β), and epidermal growth factor (EGF).

Acute inflammation came back with Protopic and they said it made it ”worse”... Acute inflammation makes swelling, pain, red..which we will portray as ”worse” but infact it is actually healing the condition.
Then they said the lips got ”better”(meaning the acute inflammation went away after healing)resulting in minimized peeling.. this is because the acute inflammation that came healed parts of the lips, so cortisol won’t come.

When the lips are red it shows no more chronic inflammation..? How can chronic inflammation turn on and off so easily? For example my lips maybe red for 2 hours then turn pink and feel normal.. doesn’t make sense.

Hair loss can be caused by excess inflammation and certain matrix metalloproteases, as well as the accompanying hormonal imbalances. Most inflammation starts in the intestinal tract, so that’s where I’d start. Candida can increase MMPs and inflammation. You may have limited success with thyroid supplements when there is ongoing inflammation and other hormone issues.
The nail ridges can be from stress and adrenal imbalances which go hand-in-hand with thyroid issues.

It’s possible that chronic inflammation has created this imbalance. That would be a result of past antibiotic use creating a ”leaky brain” and ongoing levels of inflammation in the body generating more brain inflammation. The result could amplification of nerve signals to the point that you’re hear so much.
Candida can create the ongoing levels of inflammation that continually feed the brain inflammation. Parasites, chemicals, viruses, etc., could also cause increased levels of inflammation in the body that played a role as well.

The inflammation starts from other sources like gut issues, nutritional deficiencies (like in my case low ferritin), poor diets, infection, thyroid and so on.
