To Dr. Jeff,

I suffer from years of eczema since I was young (about 5 years old) and recently started the Candida Diet to eliminate it, along with some anti-fungals such as undecylenic acid/SF722, caprylic acid and olive leaf extract. I'm taking molybdenum and milk thistle to support my liver and die-off symptoms. Currrently, after a month, I find that my eczema got worse and a lot of the toxins are being released through my skin. My whole body is covered in dry flaking skin, and it has become quite an uncomfortable problem. I put coconut oil on it to keep it moisturized but find that the layers of dry skin build up and up unless I exfoliate in some kind of way. But more often than not, it ends up opening the skin causing weeping. Is this normal? Have I made my Candida worse or is this part of the healing process? I'm not seeing candida in my stool, nor biofilms either. I'm concerned that what I'm doing is in vain, or all wrong.

I am around 5 weeks into the plan. I have stuck by it meticulously and have noticed my energy improve but I still suffer with brain fog and have periods of lethargy during the day and sometimes a little ringing in my ears. My question is how do I know when I have fully eradicated the C. Albicans? I am concerned that I may not have fully eradicated the C.albicans by the time I switch over to the probiotics.

    Ive improved my candida by eliminating sugar.. completely , cold turkey. it's hard but I'll never look back. saw a naturopath who really helped diagnose the issue and also helped me along the way, she was great, works in Toronto for whoever lives there - http://www.ndmedic.com so basically I had big bumps on my eyelids , especially when I woke up in the mornings, thought it was a dog allergy because I have a dog.. but after many doc visits and finally seeing a ND, we figured out it was candida overgrowth.. I do miss sugar sometimes, but when I do I nibble on cocoa nibs and pretend its milk chocolate, lol, anything to keep my eye lids from itching and swelling is worth it
