1 Corinthians 13:11
When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.
one can be herded around like a toddler or one can learn to hear and obey that still small voice.
1 Kings 19:11-13

fear of the lord and becoming like a child are beginnings, not goals unto themselves. remaining in those conditions are a developmental disaster. learn the parable of the sower.
