Hi - and thanks for the thorough post.

I've never used soaps or detergents as such bcause of having heard the upshot of your information before (and having gut inflammation problems to begin with). However, I've occasionally used a few drops of organic vegetable glycerine on the advice of another source. I'm no scientist (sadly) and I'm unable to determine whether this is another form of surface active agent. Can you enlighten me?
