Day 6 I'm a believer!!!  Back to the cramping I mentioned in the previous post. In 2003 I had West Nile Encephalitis. Was in intensive care a week and don't much remember that week. A byproduct of the virus however was some pretty severe neurological problems, severe weakness and pain afterwards, needed a walker and then a cane. I had physical therapy for about a month but since then I have been having some pretty severe muscle spasms all over my body. Some come and go and others are constant, ie if I move my foot a certain way it will totally spasm and lock up, every time. When ever a leg or food does this I have to jump up walk and that will make it go away instantly. This is not at all like your typical leg cramps that come sometimes in the night. Anyway I noticed yesterday NO spasms, I can move in all the positions that will always produce them and nothing. This is no coincidence especially since its been constant for almost 4 years. So while I hate to get my hopes up, how can I not. If this is what the fast has done for me then I'll be doing it every 3 months like they recommend. Another nice thing...freedom from food...that is a nice aspect of this that I never considered. Oh yea I am looking forward to a nice sushi dinner and a glass of wine but to be free of having to worry about what my next meal will be is a very nice thing. Still cooking for dh but no problems with that and am not even tempted, and this from someone who just over a week ago thought she had no will power, how can I not feel good...yeah Master Cleanse!!
