What is nature's law to good health?

Yes, this is a must read. I am however, still learning all the techniques available.

Let me break good health down simply. First Definition.

Definition(Houghton Milfin COmpany): The condition of being physically and mentally sound: haleness, healthiness, heartiness, soundness, wholeness.

I especially subscribe to this definition because it hits the very essence of health. Point: health is not just about the freedom from disease, but an overall condition. The only point I feel is that the definition still lacks two components: emotionally and spiritually sound. Let me examine the ensuing adjectives. Haleness and soundness empahsizes on physical health; heartiness describes the enrgy that comes with good health; only wholeness resonates with totality.

Second, the 5 key aspects to health.
1. Emotional balance between giving and receiving external energy
2. Mental nourishment
3. Spiritual calm and wisdom, teachings of how to live
4. Physical manipulation of diet and exercise to customize to one's unique body
5. Environmental assualt

Questions to ponder while I fix up this msg

1.Emotional:are we giving too much to others? are we giving ourselves the proper rejuvenation of vital force? what are we thinking?are we stressed by our thoughts? which of our thoughts that are impeding? are we getting good wholesome love? are we happy?
2. Mental: are we exercising our brain cells often enough? are we stressing our brain out? what is too much stress? what are we reading? do you read something positive everyday? how is your concentration span? how is your ability to memorise? how is your ability to recollect?
3. Spiritual: are you depressed? are you cynical? are you confused? are you anxious? are you grieving? are you sick? do you feel hopeless? we need to connect to God, because our relationship with him is the most intimate in our human experience. There is no better teacher nor guide. Are you living a lie? Are you a whole person? Who are you? Walking in God's footsteps is the only righteous way.
4. Physical: What is your eating pattern as a child till now? What do you eat? What proportions are your meals? Do you eat regularly? What are your temptations? Is 3 meals a day necessary? What is best for breakfast, lunch, dinner? Why is eating late bad for the body? What is the optimum time when your organs clean themselves? Why does food make me lethargic? What is the nutritional index of food? Which diet works? How does food affect the body? Why are you obese? Do we all have to die sick? What is toxemia? Are you emptying your bowels normally? What is your blood pressure? What is your cholesterol level? How clean is your blood? Do you have eating disorders? Do you smoke, drink or take drugs? Why do you have these issues? How regularly do you exercise? How much exercise is beneficial? What exercises should I be doing? What drugs are you taking?
5. Environment: Are you stressed by school or work? Is your air clean? Do you communicate with your neighbours? Are you addicted to p 0 r n o g r a p h y or other predilections? How many hours do you spend on TV, computer, on the phone? How many times do you check your email? What kind of programmes are you watching? What kind of people do you associate with?

SKIN


Skin brushing
Skin brushing facilitates skin cleansing by stimulating the lymphatic system to eliminate toxins through the skin. It also improves blood circulation throughout the body and removes dead skin cells and debris that clog pores
Instructions
1. Use a long handled natural bristle brush. You can find one at the health food store. If you are unable to find one, use a loofah sponge.
2. Start at the soles of your feet. Using light pressure, brush in small circles from the legs towards the chest, palms of the hands towards the chest, and then the back towards the abdomen. Finish with the scalp.
3. Avoid the face, breasts, and other sensitive areas. Skin brushing can be done in the morning or evening by itself or before a contrast shower.

Contrast showers
The contrast between hot and cold water increases microcirculation through body tissues, promotes detoxification, and strengthens the immune system. This helps bring nutrients, oxygen and immune cells to damaged and stressed tissues and carries away metabolic waste, inflammatory by-products and other toxic substances. Contrast showers also strengthen the immune system by increasing the number of white blood cells.

Instructions
Start with three minutes of hot water followed by less than one minute of cold water. Repeat this pattern at least once, always finishing with cold (e.g. 3 minutes hot - 1 minute cold - 3 minutes hot - 1 minute cold).

Sauna
Many cultures use sauna cleansing as a regular part of detoxification and cleansing. It is a powerful method of eliminating environmental chemicals that are stored in fat cells.
Instructions
1. Find a dry heat sauna that has not been treated with toxic chemicals.
2. You should not be hungry, have just eaten, or feel weak.
3. Exercise for 20 to 30 minutes. Cardiovascular exercise, such as running or using a treadmill or exercise bicycle, is necessary to stimulate the circulation of blood and lymph to the deep tissues.
4. The recommended length of time in the sauna varies according to the condition. Sittings of about 15 minutes at a time are recommended in a low temperature sauna. In advanced sauna cleanses, up to 45 minutes at a time are recommended, but it is essential that the sauna be low temperature and the person stays hydrated with water and minerals. Heavy sweating after 10 to 15 minutes is a sign that the sauna is too warm.
5. In order to increase circulation and mobilize chemicals from fat tissue, niacin supplements are sometimes recommended for 2 to 3 weeks with daily sauna therapy. A health care practitioner should be consulted to ensure the safety and efficacy of the detox.

Diet
The following diet recommendations will promote skin cleansing:
1. Drink at least 8-12 glasses of water per day. You will require more if you are sauna cleansing.
2. Take a mineral supplement. Many people prefer liquid mineral supplements. People with heart or kidney disease should not take mineral supplements without consulting a qualified health care provider.

Note: A health care practitioner should be consulted to customize a detox program for you, especially if you have pre-existing medical conditions. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should not detox.
