Eating Light and Insomnia

Date: 6/23/2006 8:06:30 PM ( 18 y ) ... viewed 1782 times Okay.... first of all.. YAY!!! It's Friday!!. This has been the craziest week at work. I am a Designer in a corporate environment and they have been doing "Restructuring" without explaination or direction..... for the past 6 months. It has been CRAZY. My Supervisor got laid off last Friday and now it feels like my whole world (in the office) is upside down. Learning a lot through it all though. Let's just say that the weekend could not have come any freaking sooner!
I am really proud of myself (today). I have managed to loose 10 pounds since starting this blog which is not the number I had in mind..... wanted more progress. But, the thing is, I have started and I will have to just be patient with how far I have come so far. So, just gotta be happy with that. And I am managing to work out 2 times a day.... that meaning 30 min running on the treadmill and 30 min weights each time.
So, with all the exercise and all the light eating, I have been having a hard time staying asleep. It's like my body has a hard time relaxing without the extra calories. I am hoping this is just an adjustment period and that I will get used to going to bed with an empty stomache.
It is Friday so I am gonna go home, try to go to the gym again even though I am exhausted, make a nice dinner with Mr.Fiance and have a glass of wine or two.
