baby steps
Date: 6/8/2006 4:34:19 PM ( 18 y ) ... viewed 2747 times I have been having a bit of a hard time getting back into the swing of eating healthy every day... after 3 months of letting it all go. I work a lot (as a Designer) and I suppose that is my excuse. But I feel like I am making baby steps in the right direction. I have gone back and forth with doing a fast and have come to the conclusion that I just need to eat small healthy portions, mostly raw, for a while until I have made some progress. I will do a juice fast sometime this summer....... once I am mentally focused and have gotten some physical results.
20 days until I go back to Hawaii for my friend's Wedding, to choose a location of our own, and to visit my family. Very excited. I initially wanted to be in really good shape by then. But the bottom line is that huge changes don't happen overnight. I will be in much better shape than I was weeks ago and am looking at this as a whole year ahead of me to get in shape before my June Wedding. I think we have decided on the date...... 07.07.07. haha!
The good news is that I have been working out and running every day for the past 3 weeks. So, I do feel like I am back in the groove of exercise again. Whew! Now if I can just focus on eating healthy every day. And try not to overindulge on the weekends. On the weekends my Fiance and I usually reward ourselves with a couple nice bottles of wine. And that definitely stunts my progress! sigh.
Anyways... hoping to have some results in the next 20 days with some weight loss. I think eating mostly raw will help a lot!
