30 Day Juice Fast Journey -- Day Twenty Six

I suppose like with anything else, there will always be a Dickweed who will try and ruin the party for anyone else having fun...

Tonight I'm going to begin this blog with an OxyPowder report.  I took my dose and it worked like a charm.  Only it worked much quicker and as such kept me awake off and on all night long.  No cramping to let me know, which is interesting because I'd wake up anyway.  It's like my spirit was alert all night and would nudge me to wake up whenever I needed to.  While that was convenient if only because of the potential catastrophe that could have occurred had I not woke in time, I think I would rather do this during the day when I am awake and alert.  So, no more nightly dosages for me for the rest of this 7 day cleanse, of which I have four days left.  (I hope Julie reads this before she has any poo poo tales to tell!)  <Chuckle>

I've lost 22 pounds, hmmmmm...  and this is Day 26 of my 30 day juice fast journey, with four days of the fast and OxyPowder cleanse to go, so hopefully I'll lose more pounds.   I feel terrific!  Lighter.  More alert.  Peaceful.  And for the most part, content.  My husband, while not interested in a full fast, expressed interest in a two week modified juice fast.  He also expressed interest in trying out the Oxypowder.  I am so pleased.  (He may get to keep his hair even longer!)  And his active support will help me to be more careful when I come off this fast.  I won't be cooking much, if at all, <jumping up and down in glee> while he is on a modified juice fast.  I have no idea why he expressed this interest, I'm just glad.

A lovely new blogger who is struggling to heal and rebalance her health through fasting shared a message of experiencing intense hunger while fasting and while responding to encourage her I encountered someone who yellow-bellied behind an anonymous number, 58572, who decided to rudely attack this blogger by admonishing her to stop her belly aching, blah blah blah, that there were many kids who will die today from starvation.  The blogger handled the situation with dignity and aplomb and for the most part I probably should not have said anything.

I worried how others coming in to read the blog and the comments would feel if they came across that attack with no support from others.  Would that keep this seeking person from blogging their own experiences?  Would this attack prevent the blogger from sharing future struggles with hunger while on this fast for fear this attack will occur again?  It's ironic, I just gave my gratitude to the Spirit for creating the CureZone because, what was it I said? because CZ is a tranquil place to come and share, find support and inspiration.  That attack shattered this tranquility, poked fun at the support and there is no inspiration in rude attacks.  I wanted this blogger and all future bloggers to know there are people who do not condone or approve of unwarranted rude attacks (by ignoring them and pretending it didn't happen) on others who are struggling to better their lives.

You know, while I have been on my own fast for the past 26 days, I, not once, thought about all those starving children the few times when I experienced hunger.  Instead I thought about all the people who are eating and the fact that I was not.  This is not to say I am not aware of those starving children, nor it is to say I don't care, because I certainly am aware and I most certainly do care.  However, I personally know far more needy people who are starving spiritually, emotionally and mentally and if I wanted to get nitty gritty about it, I know of millions right here in America who are starving physically because they are eating dead food.  But this is not the time for that particular diatribe.  There are many more blogs within me.

I believe in cleaning up my own back yard before venturing in someone else's back yard to poke my ugly stick in their face.  Another words, there is enough work to do in my own home, my own community, my own country before I can point fingers at someone else, before I can hope to be able to feed all those starving children in other homes and communities in other countries.

I sincerely apologize to the blogger who was rudely attacked if my support was not wanted or needed.  However, to be completely frank, which I always strive to be, I can't promise it won't happen again if other unwarranted attacks occur.   I just can't stand by and watch someone who is good and undeserving be beaten down by the ugly words and intentions of a hate filled person.   That is just not me.

I really like the CureZone and believe for the most part, people here are likeminded in their quest for betterment and healthy well being.  I have met some very cool people who intrigue me, inspire me and move me such as Finally Faith, Julie, But God, Kerminator, Leslie, DeraDune, The Butterfly, Wrenn,  Want2bFree, Seaside Station and several others.  These people are striving mentally, emotionally, spiritually and physically.  They reach out to others when support is needed.  They offer information, inspiration and love.  They are kind and beautiful people.

But I suppose like with anything else, there will always be a Dickweed in this case: 58572, who will try and ruin the party for anyone else having fun.

Just keep your eyes peeled for this number.

Lovely Wrenn who is a CZ team member and the proud owner of several cleverly named blogs has just shared a fantastic link to vegan foods, including some brilliant smoothies.  Imagine a fruit or vegetable smoothie that's not only lovely to behold, but absolutely delicious on the tongue.  I am thinking these recipes will be perfect for coming off the fast.  They will also be perfect for modified juice fasts.  They are perfect for anytime!  You must check this site out, I insist!  It's fabulous and well worth your perusal.  Just go through Wrenn's blog at:  http://curezone.com/blogs/m.asp?f=78&i=84

For the rest of Wrenn's blogs:

Please take the time to look over these fantastic blogs.  They offer an abundance of information about all kinds of healing modalities and ways to make your body, your home, your food, your life more beautiful, more peaceful.

There's another blog I especially like called Spirit Meets Body, http://curezone.com/blogs/f.asp?f=596 by Finally Faith, who is a very intelligent, intuitive, open-minded, kind and funny person.  I like the name of his blog, because it gives me hope that he will discuss ways the body and spirit can meet, merge, meld, become One.  So far he has offered some seriously interesting essays that give you no choice but to marvel and force you to ponder, seriously hunker down and think about what you're reading.  You can find him all over CZ offering insights and information to people in a kind, open minded manner.  He's definitely someone to watch.

Four more days of this fast and cleanse and I be done!  Well, not exactly, but, as far as serious fasting I be done.  But in reality, the work is never done.  I have my vices, I smoke, I love to party when the opportunity arises.  I love my cheeseburgers.  I make some mean cheeseburgers.  My personal fave is the bluecheese burger.  I love my honey baked salmon.  These things must come in profound moderation.  So, as I said, there's work to be done.  It ain't over til I'm six feet under.  'Sides, who said the work has to be boring or intolerable.  If I can find a RAW style cheeseburger, half the battle's over.

Time for tea.  Tonight, it's White Tea and fresh ginger, sweetened with my new Agave nectar.

Love to you all,
