Hi there Dazzle,
Thanks so much for the wonderful blog, it is an inspiration to me as I embark on my own juice fast. I am on day 4 and so far so good. I have only been consuming juice and herbal tea so far, but I am going to throw together a broth to sip on for some variety! I might even try a fruit broth.
My question for you is about bowels, obviuosly. This is my first ever juice fast and I am doing it unsupervised. My only reference is "Juice fasting and Detoxification" by Steve Meyerowitz. It is an excellent book but I need some practical info. Do I really need to worry about my bowels on a fast and what should I do? He recommends giving yourself enemas (not high on my list of leisure activities), and drinking juice blended with banana and psyllium. I find that this drink makes me feel hungry again. Any suggestions would be terrific.
