This morning, I felt - "I can handle a fast, I can do it"
This afternoon, I felt - "All I've eaten today is a piece of candy, lots of water, and a small soup."
That's really good - and we're having fruit salad for dinner.
I'm thinking that I'll give myself till the end of May to see if I can keep up small-portion eating and good exercise habits.
If I cannot feel good about what I'm eating and how I'm exercising every single day, then I'll juice fast. But if I can keep up the good habits I've been in for most of the past two weeks (raw as much as possible, small portions being the key)
then I won't juice fast.
It seems that when I go to one extreme, I end back on the other extreme, so I'm wary of juice fasting, because it kind of stresses me out, and I feel like I'd pig out at the end, and be miserable throughout.
Boy, sounds like I really don't want to do a prolonged juice fast.
WEll the forum continues, so I've got till a few days after memorial day to decide.
There's also the option of juice fasting every other day for a month. Oh yeah - I love that idea. It's the long fast that makes me nervous - makes me think about sitting at work stressing out, looking at my calendar, knowing it's over a week till I can eat food.
Oh yeah - I'm totally up for a few weeks of juice fasting every other day. That way I can hopefully keep running, too. I know with a long fast I can't exercise with the same intensity.
i'm not M.O.G., after all!
