The Gift of the Gods is Happiness

from my revived wordpress blog...I had a true spiritual experience!

The sweetest experience is to wake up in the morning. That is an outrageous privilege to begin with. I was able to open my eyes, and smell the cool air, mixed with...mold? Or outside biomass lol...either way, my intellect wanted to start complaining about my husband and the moldly basement, the leaky water heater. A little switch went off in my head, and I immediately got happy. It was instantaneous. There was no conscious effort on my part, and I ran with it. I started finding more and more reasons to be happy, including having risen early to my full morning routine of reading, writing, chi gong, meditation, ritual,etc.

Last night I was saying to myself during ritual, chanting my personal mantra, that I desire Thor's sacred mead then I will desire money. My mind whirs away at paying off things, figuring I'd "manifest" paying off paypal which hasn't happened in years lol...I'm tired of "asking" for money and decided to stop "asking the universe" for money to pay bills. I found a piece of paper from a scrap journal about being able to go to Trinidad and Tobago with my mother to write a book. It's on my medicine wheel to focus on as an experiment to see what will happen if I put my "wishes and goals" on my medicine wheel.

Today is Thursday, Thor's Day, and I can already feel him tapping me on the shoulder to get off the computer and get going with my exercises!
