Raw Glandular Extracts…What they are…How they work.

John Burgstiner, CEO of Logos Nutritionals once said something that fascinated me. He said that glandular therapy is based upon the notion that glandular substances are biologically active in our body, or that “Like cells help like cells.” I found this fascinating because I already knew that Logos' Liver CS Plus and Complete Thymic Formula - two of the foundational supplements included in their Burgstiner Wellness Protocol - contain glandular tissues. Since I have Hep C, I became particularly interested and thought this deserved further inquiry.
This is what I found:
A very small amount of glandular tissue from an animal gland can be picked up in the blood stream to support, augment, and normalize the corresponding gland or organ in a human being. John was sharing that raw glandulars provide nutrients that aid in the reproduction of cells for that particular organ. As he so succinctly put it, “Glandular materials impart not only gland specific nutrients, but information encoded in the RNA and DNA of the glandular proteins that cannot be communicated in any other way”.
For serious diseases like Lyme or Morgellons that debilitate our glands and organs, glandular supplements become very useful in augmenting the body’s own substance so that it can better heal itself. That is profoundly significant! I now understand why they are included in the Burgstiner Wellness Protocol. Since they provide all the benefits of whole fresh glands, it is a technique that helps the deepest levels of the body to function as close to normal as possible.
I believe it is the Logos raw glandulars that are providing the nutrients that aid in the reproduction of cells for particular disease affected organs and glands. These raw glandular tissues are providing intrinsic factors that are distinct from the vitamins, minerals, or enzyme micro nutrients which act as catalysts to potentiate their effects. And since our organs and glands communicate chemically to the physiological needs of the body with micro nutrients and polypeptides, it seems that only minute amounts are required to have positive effects.
Again, this is profoundly important to understand, and goes to the heart of why this protocol heals. In fact, John went on to state that “Harnessing the synergy between glandular extracts and the various micronutrients needed to activate organ systems is the key to restoring immunity and rehabilitating the bioterrain", and that “Accessing this primal synergy represents his father’s (the late Carson Burgstiner MD) legacy and vital contribution to the future of medicine”.
Indeed, the more I have studied the various components of the Burgstiner Wellness Protocol, the more impressed I have become with the many layers of wisdom within it. Furthermore, I cannot find another example of this in any other supplement program, which is why I will always advocate for it.
The science is sound, and that is why people get better here! Believe it.
