There are many protocols and many products one can find on line that purport to treat and cure Morgellons Disease. Unfortunately, too many of these are produced by individuals whom I would categorize as on line predators who are more interested in making money than curing disease. Then again, how does someone like myself, who is actually close to being in complete remission, properly endorse a protocol and treatment model that is working? This is a very sensitive issue.
For me personally, I don't wish to presume that the protocol that I am using is the only effective model. However, I feel it is vital and consider it very important to present what is working for me and others who are afflicted. In my humble opinion, the science behind the methodologies and the integrity of the companies that I trust speaks for itself. In my prior posts here, I have discussed the science behind and rationale for a protocol that promotes complete bioterrain restoration. It utilizes a specific diet combined with nutritional supplementation. What follows here is why, in my opinion, the choices that I made are proving successful.
Since June of 2007, there have been strict federal rules in outlining requirements for manufacturing, packaging, labeling, and holding dietary supplement products in the United States. Long before this, however, there was a core group of companies that insisted that their manufacturing and packaging partners follow stringent quality control practices to insure product purity and potency.
These companies stayed ahead of government mandates by proactively defining and managing quality systems internally with an emphasis on qualification of materials and suppliers, mandating meticulous facility cleanliness, and insisting on rigorous finished goods specification and testing programs. Not surprisingly, these are the types of companies from which most of the advances in product design and innovative formulations have emerged.
One such company, Logos Nutritionals, has consistently met or exceeded this criteria. Their vision and wisdom is evidenced by their incredible products and the steady stream of transformed lives (including mine) amongst their customers. Their commitment to quality and strategic product advancement has over time won my endorsement as THE product line of choice. Life Extension is now second. The FDA purports to protect the public against contaminated and otherwise dangerous drugs. The facts more often reveal an agency with an acquired agenda, incapable of acting in a consistent and logical manner. The facts further demonstrate that an increasing number of supplement companies are being bought out by pharmaceutical companies. These corporate giants have historically shown little regard for the health and longevity of their customers. This is clearly demonstrated by the cover ups of the deadly side effects of drugs like Vioxx that killed tens of thousands of Americans.
So ask yourself, how important is it to know the standard of excellence of any given supplier? The answer is that it is imperative! Reliable and trustworthy nutritional suppliers maintain documented Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and standards. These standards ensure overall quality control that exceed FDA mandates and are safer and more potent than many expensive prescription drugs.
The bottom line is to get to know the suppliers and vendors you are soliciting. This in my opinion, is far and away the single most important consideration of whatever protocol you choose. I remain completely confident that the science that is fueling my recovery is sound. My hope is for you to experience the same return to health.
