Hello friends,

Don't just be strong, don't be just committed, but also be NOBLE and provide hope.

“Who will continue to answer the call to lead efforts to heal those stricken with MD now and in the future?” This is a question that sometimes keeps me up at night. Who will respond and join the small group of dedicated and caring individuals who currently commit to helping others cure this insidious disease? My conversations with others stricken with MD across the country and throughout the continuum reveal that I am not the only person wondering how we will survive the numerous obstacles MD will bring forth to those who become sick in the future . In some ways, I launched this blog to address this challenge.

Along the journey these past two years, I personally witnessed innovative, game-changing people who selflessly provide their valuable time, knowledge, and insight so as to move others who are afflicted forward. "It may well be that when we no longer know what to do comes the time when we have come to our real work." For me, this now encompasses efforts to build new communities to ease suffering and bring forth healing. This has become a search for the perfect alignment of the elements that create "home." Perhaps I’ve just arrived at my real work. Only time will tell, but I know this...my desire to see others cured from MD has helped me find that perfect alignment...."that home.” This is also the mission of the HE CURES ALL FOUNDATION and the CHARLES E. HOLLMAN FOUNDATION.

I plan to continue here to contribute knowledge that I have acquired about MD. Through ongoing dialogue, I hope to engage others here towards better understanding the nature of MD. I strive to share the transformation of those that are becoming cured. Participation in providing care and hands on help to the desperate souls suffering with MD speaks volumes about character. Together, during the practice of sincere commitment to be of service, we can paint a brighter picture of hope for the desperate. We can provide the help that allows those stricken to recognize that the turbulent time one fights MD is filled with transformational opportunities. And we can help them recognize and seize opportunities so as s to better fulfill the mission of securing returning health.

Imagine for a moment waking up every single day with a part of your body that doesn’t work properly and facing an ongoing circumstance that just doesn’t seem real. In frustration, we ask, "Where am I?" or "Why is this happening?" Then we begin to view circumstances that appear to be the exact opposite of what we intend. Since this perspective can be so very discouraging for us, I’d like to share with you a special encouragement.

I’ve re-discovered about God through having MD, both in his word and in my own life . I now understand that God’s ultimate purposes for our lives are often achieved by circumstances that seem to make no "apparent" sense to us. The Apostle Paul demonstrated that circumstances alone didn’t have the power to make or break his life. The same truth applies to our lives. Our perception of faith and hope can make all the difference in how we experience the overwhelming circumstances of MD. And when we understand God’s purpose in our lives, our perception changes so that we are able to find strength and joy even as we face the difficult circumstances.

So, in the midst of this tough time, try to explore how to endure through the hope, happiness, and joy that springs forth through relationship with God. My hope is that during your journey back , you too will enrich and enhance your relationship with God and see for yourself how he allows us to persevere.

Blessings
