The Solar Plexus Center According To The Human Design System
The Potential For Both Emotional and Spirit Awareness, plus deconditioning.

It is so important to honor our individuality and to live our design. Human Design helps us to drop what I call the 'should conditioning'[1] and it shows us how we can simply be ourselves and let our uniqueness shine."[2]
I was born with a Defined Solar Plexus Center (aka the emotional center) and have been working toward deeper emotional awareness in my human design for a number of years.

I have my Unconscious Moon activating Gate 22 in my Solar Plexus Center.:

Also a certain amount of social interaction is required to get the awareness disseminated, so that mutative evolutionary growth can take place, and grace comes through the spirit of the knower as it moves toward potential emotional awareness."[5]

"The Solar Plexus Center has two aspects. As a motor, it drives our human life and its cyclical process, as well as our sexuality. But it also contains the chemistry of our emotional system, which we interpret and live out as a wave that goes from hope to pain and back again."[7]
Before being introduced to the Human Design System (about fifteen years ago) I had already studied a "cyclical process" presented by Dane Rudhyar in his book: "An Astrological Mandala: The Cycle of Transformations and Its 360 Symbolic Phases". Subsequently I have been following the lunar cycle and the "Harvest Cycle" that's presented in "The Book of Houses" by Robert Cole and Paul Williams. I also look at biorhythms. In turn these three often offer me insight into the cycles of the Solar Plexus Center.
"You live in a world with a 24-hour daily cycle (the Circadian rhythm) that affects your body chemistry and its needs; the multidimensional view shows how consciousness changes and affects your mental, spiritual, emotional, and biological nature. It explains a great deal that was unknown before (the revelation of the Human Design System)."[8]

I agree that de-conditioning is a process and that it does require a "cycle" of time and that the "7-year process" is definitely a cycle that may most reasonably be thought of as the cycle of transformation/de-conditioning. However the process of transformation could just as well require a nine-year cycle or possibly longer! In any case these cycles repeat themselves and continue throughout one's lifetime in progressive sequences providing us virtually endless opportunities of "discovery and awareness".
Earlier this evening I thought "scientists have proven that we can focus on the smallest particles of the universe and learn volumes through our observations/awareness". We all have virtually the same abilities that the "scientists" have and can apply these to our own individual lives. Scientists write papers regarding their observations. The rest of us can journal. Journaling can allow us to acknowledge our awareness and discoveries.
Also from "secret of being you" - "Observation of the mind’s stories, the over and over and over again recognition of the mental patterns, is what I’ve come to recognize as the fundamental work of de-conditioning."

Deconditioning begins by reorienting how we relate to our mind. Our unique decision-making is a process for our form to make. That means we need to develop our awareness of the mechanics that has been Designed into our form.
