Day Nine
Good days, weird nights and colds...
Date: 5/31/2011 10:45:42 AM ( 13 y ) ... viewed 29053 times Yesterday morning started off great. Coffee enema (not great) went fine. It was actually a very calming experience, if you can believe that. Retention was easy, where as with other enemas it's not.
The sun was out so I spent most of the day doing yardwork. I expended my energy pretty quickly and had to keep drinking juice to keep going and sure enough, by twilight, I was pretty exhausted. This isn't typical during my fasts, usually, unless undergoing a detox, energy is great throughout the day.
However, I didn't realize I was catching my children's cold. I awoke this morning mildly congested and very tired. It also didn't help that I dreamt of food all night, so I was up throughout the night reminding myself that I was just dreaming as the remorse of ending my fast prematurally began to weigh heavily. Then my husband accidentally kicked me in the leg last night, waking me from the only dead sleep I'd experienced... Needless to say it was a funny night...
So, today if I can pull it off, I'm going to try to do as little as possible. I need to direct my energy towards to getting over this mild cold. I'm a mother of three, so this will be easier said than done... Ha,ha... What I wouldn't give to be at a nice Spa Retreat... One can dream right? (as long as it's not about food...)
