Day 2 Day two Today is Day two of the water fast and I am feeling pretty good. I do have a mild headache, due to withdrawal of food. I am pretty sure my body still hasn’t fully switched over to ketosis. Usually it takes the body 3-4 days to get into ketosis because the body first uses up the glycogen storage. I did have few temptations to break the fast, but I stayed strong and told myself food will always be there. I know that God will guide me through this journey and help me do some soul searching. It is really cold here and when fasting, the body temperature also slightly drops. I am now wearing layers of clothing and socks to keep my feet warm. The skin is the largest organ and our body uses the skin to eliminate toxins. To help my body get rid of toxins, I am going to do some exercise to open up the pores. So far everything is going pretty good, I am very confident that, I can get through this. I know that the first few days will be the hardest and I just have to stay focused on my goal.
