Water fasting - Day 2
I have begun a 7 day water fast and worried I will be able to handle everything.
Date: 4/4/2009 9:30:14 AM ( 15 y ) ... viewed 2813 times Hi guys, well I have braved a new fast. This is a water fast and on day 2. Me and my friend Marie are fasting together and it is not bad. Of course worried about last time when I got major toxemia and almost died. Lol.
I got hungry the first day but today I am ok, slight bloatedness and very weak. I am having some cold chills as the body temperature drops so sitting in front of heater. I am very weak so rest often.
I am aiming for a 7 day fast but will see how things go. I am starting to have visions of suppressed memories so that worries me but I will be working on that part to clear my mind forever. It is not something you can just say ok I am ready to handle it, thru Allah's mercy it comes when the mind is ready. I mean it is not like going to the dentist and saying pull this tooth. You just have to wait and BAM BAM it surprises you but it comes gradual.
Imagine if the brain suppresses the memory it is because it was so awful you could not physically handle it. Years ago when I went to be hypnotised, the doc said she was surprised I was still alive as most would of died from what I have been thru. Yes, I have kept it secret and can't talk about what happened just to tell you it is a very difficult journey for me.
