The story of Patty, my dear sweet departed sister.
Date: 3/24/2009 3:26:48 PM ( 15 y ) ... viewed 3458 times My sister died of brain cancer 11 years ago. She had wished on my dad's grave that she got cancer like he did so she could be with him. IN a moment of anguish she wished for a bad thing. And sure enough she came down with brain cancer.
Daddy lived for 8 years with cancer and lived an awful life. I always swore if I ever got cancer I would not do what they did and go to hospitals, doctors and chemo. I swore I would keep my faith and keep my home. I keep this promise to this day. Luckily I do not have cancer though. Knock on wood.
Well my sister got cancer and the LOUSY PIECE OF SHIT she was married to, left her. Man, the guy was blind and he goes out on my sister with a woman who weighed more than my sister. Mind you my sister weighed 250 pounds. I always hated the guy. So she had to go on welfare to raise her 7 children while he went from state to state having fun.
So he convinced her to follow him on the basis that there were no strings attached. So she left her home, her family and her doctors to follow THIS LOUSY PIECE OF SHIT and sure enough within ten days he was with another woman. It just broke Patty's heart. She was good and humble and she was so sincere. Even when she called, she tried to hide her pain. She never complained at all. She had her two youngest daughters with her and the pain got so bad that she could not take care of herself anymore.
SO THE LOUSY PIECE OF SHIT, calls me and tells me that Patty is in bad shape and needs to go back to Kentucky to get healed. I knew he was lying. So I tell THE LOUSY PIECE OF SHIT, "exactly how much are you contributing?" He said, "Nothing." He starts screaming at me and I hang the phone up. Sure enough her family calls me for money to get Patty home and of course I sent the money.
Patty goes home and this LOUSY PIECE OF SHIT never contacted her again or the family. Patty's family committed her to a poor peoples home after they had her dragged out of the house by the police. As you know Brain Cancer patients become violent. Maybe I have brain cancer, cause I feel violent remembering this subject. She had an argument with her daughter in law and slapped her and she calls the police and they dragged Patty off. I begged and begged that they would let me talk to her. They refused. After 12 calls I finally found out where she was and I called. By then Patty was in bad shape. They promised me should live another 6 months.
I sent her flowers on June 8, 1997 at 4:30pm and at 10:30 pm she died. I asked the woman to please tell Patty I sent flowers and the nurse told me she would not understand. I told her just tell Patty her sister sent flowers and she agreed. Now did she really tell her I don't know. I do know that she deserved better.
I sent her a silk gown and she told me she had never had a silk gown in her life. My poor sister, penniless and desperate for love. She just wanted to be loved. T
She died alone in the hospital with no one around. I had no way to contact her. The family did call me to tell me she died and of course ask for money. THE LOUSY PIECE OF SHIT took the girls to get the welfare money and never even allowed them to come to the funeral.
They buried my sister with that white gown, the one she had never owned in her life. Somehow a piece of me died that night. Someone I died right along with her.
