There is still something wonderful about this life. Yes, we fell into time but now we are here, let us make the best of it all. So it might not last forever but there is something delicious about a first kiss. That mountain may only last until this earth has passed but there is still something very grand about having climbed it. One can find a cave in the side of a mountain and live a whole life without saying a word...without harming a fly... never breaking a heart... It is safer that way... but each day I wake up... i try to love all that I can.. in spite of myself... It is not easy...but what else can one do...
On a rainy stormy day... I met the light in the sky and the devil as well..
When once time has had its fill of pain...this world it explodes... the light is waiting for you... waiting for me... but I fell back again... The Devil I met...he may not love you... and he may not love me... but through the pain and the tears... he is proud of all that he made... sometimes called God's creation... you and me...
There is something about pride...and passion...while chasing dreams that die...
The illusions of the love that we made will not make it to the end of time but the love that we gave will... And though the snow melts and the smoke blows away... the rose will make it but the painful prick of its thorns will not ...moments of stoic dignity will make it but the indignity of hunger and thirst will not... While the raging fumes of factories will vanish one day...the quiet stillness one has while gazing on the stunning beauty of a dust and pollution filled sunset and sunrise... these moments will survive...
I know without a doubt this body I have will not make it to the light...
but hour by hour... each sunset and sunrise...each moment lived as the devil's child will be reviewed... There will be moments we would never bring out into the light of day...while our body withers away... down in the grave... but down in the grave those moments of darkness too...they will die... The Devil in God may reign for today... but when the smoke clears and the dust blows away... We may not love the Devil but we
may admire how he made it all happen so that we loved anyway in spite of it all... down here in the fall...
