The Bible was written by Middle Easterners for Middle Easterners over 2000 years ago!
Where the misinformation comes into play is because of our Western mindset!
Therefore like all of the differences found in culture and language, these can tend to cause errors in the final understandings!

Jesus didn’t have to touch the child. He didn’t have to send anything home with the father to affect the cure. All He did was speak and the son was instantly healed (v. 53).
