I try to remember that God uses the struggles in my life for my good and His glory. It has an eternal purpose. The Cecropia moth must struggle intensely to free itself to become a butterfly. The story is told of someone who saw the struggle and in a desire to help snipped the cocoon. The person didn't realize that the struggle to emerge from the cocoon was an essential part of developing the muscle system of the moths body and pushing the body fluids out into the wings to expand them. This person had crippled the moth and doomed it's existence. God uses trials to develop my spiritual muscles of faith and perserverance. Through the trials involving my health I know God through the Lord Jesus Christ is guiding me. |
