Tapeworm fragment 3
This is a side view of a segment or fragment from collection. Again note the smooth top skin and the bottom side being more like a normal earthworm. Top skin seems to peal and curl leaving casing as the underside of the worm continues to grow? Not sure what the black part is unless reproductive organs or its anus. Has to be one of the two. Fragments were collected by placing stool sample in fine mesh sieve and rinsing with water. Fragments were then soaked in a 2:1 water / bleach solution for 10 mins and allowed to air dry. Fragments are roughly 3/8" wide and 5/8" in length.
