Tapeworm fragment 2
This is a closeup of what I am assuming is the top side or back of tapeworm. The underside is soft much like an earthworm. Note the flaky smooth back which one was pealed away and it curled like a possible casing seen in my other photos. Stool sample was placed in fine mesh sieve and rinsed leaving such fragments behind, which most were about 3/8' wide and 5/8" in length. After collection, fragments were soaked in 2:1 water / bleach solution to kill any harmful bacteria and allowed to air dry before photographing.
