WHAT IS THIS AND HOW DO I REMOVE FROM CARPET? Has anyone had parasites get in their carpet? I know flukes are in there, which I did not think possible, at least not for any length of time. Now, in the last few days, these have started popping up. It all got out of hand when I didn't vacuum for a few days over Thanksgiving. Now, things are biting me, there seem to be new things and I have tried every kind of bug killer I could find, peroxide, alcohol and even ammonia. I can't kill the flukes and I'm afraid to try and shampoo them because water makes them all gooey. Can anybody help me? I know the carpet may have to go, but there is no point doing that when I'm just beginning to reduce the number I have so I'm sure I would re-infest new carpet. This is just all getting to be too much, but I have no choice but to keep fighting.
