recently I believe my wife has had her ligaments broke from a chiropractor popping her. No diagnoses yet but I do believe that is what happened. I studied reconnective healing awhile back when Eric Pearl first introduced it. It is a playful kind of energywork, not focused on a protocol. Basically, the practicioner uses some intention to become one with the client, and heal themselves, thereby the clients heals. I found Dr. Pearl to be a bit egotistical and my work evolved away from it, and into Matrix Energetics. I had the ”Reconnection” done in 2 sessions, about 6 months ago. I know it has done something for me but it is hard to tell exactly what. The biggest things I have noticed: * I can definitely feel the energy in my body more than before * I am more emotional - or, more accurately, when I have an emotional reaction to something it feels much stronger. * I am generally happier, more content, and relaxed. This is information I got from one of the practitioners I got from Dr. Pearl’s website: ”Dr. Pearl suggests that a person who is trying to heal from anything receive 3 sessions of Reconnective Healing treatments prior to having the Reconnection. I charge $200 for the three sessions. The Reconnection is a mandated charge of $333, but if a client is planning to receive The Reconnection, I only charge $100 for the first three appointments. I usually recommend 3 sessions.....not sure about the 4th?? Did you hear that from a practitioner? All healers have a little bit of a different style. Here is suggested information from Dr. Pearl himself: How many sessions will I need? How long does it take to have a healing? One visit—perhaps even part of one visit—may be plenty. Generally it is recommended that you consider up to three sessions. And, although each session is special, often something particularly special tends to be reported about session number three. Thanks for the info =). I have primary lymphedema. It’s not exactly something that’s painful (at least not at the stage I’m at) so as far as noticing any immediate healing results, I’m not expecting any. I think any results will show in reduction of swelling and/or softening of tissues that have become fibrotic but that may not happen immediately. It may take time to reduce but,...??? The lymphatic system itself is not functioning in my lower extremeties.
